What is MindWiki?
MindWiki is AI agent cloud storage and a file system for the knowledge you want to keep: one shared vault for your notes, files, research, decisions, and agent memory. Open it through MindWiki Cloud, the iPhone app, or the Mac app, and connect the AI tools you already use through MCP.
An agent can save useful work as a page, search it in a later conversation, and build on it. Another connected agent can use that same knowledge. You can read and edit the files yourself, so the context behind your work stays visible and useful across tools.
Give your AI work a lasting home
A useful answer should be easy to find after the conversation ends. A project decision should be available when you switch agents. Your research should remain close to the draft, specification, or plan it supports.
MindWiki gives that work a shared home. Your vault holds Markdown pages, supporting attachments, links between ideas, and structured metadata. Connected agents access the vault through authorized tools for search, reading, capture, writing, and supported proposals.
For example, you can ask one agent to save research, another to turn it into a project brief, and a coding agent to read that brief before implementation. Each works from the knowledge saved in your vault. You decide what to keep and what to ask the next agent to retrieve.
One vault across your devices and agents
Use MindWiki Cloud in your browser for access, writing, capture, and account management. Use the Mac app for local Markdown editing, native attachments, the Properties inspector, and the visual knowledge graph. Use the iPhone app for capture and reading while you are away from your desk.
Saved changes sync between connected clients. An agent's saved page becomes part of the same vault you open yourself. Sync speed depends on saving, connectivity, and the amount of data being transferred; larger attachments may take longer than notes.
Connect a second AI platform to your existing MindWiki account to keep working with the same vault. Each platform has its own connection, which you can revoke individually.
Storage with context
Keep a PDF beside the note explaining why it matters. Put a screenshot inside the project page it illustrates. Link a decision to the research that supported it.
MindWiki supports images, audio, video, PDFs, and other files as attachments. The Mac app provides attachment authoring; the web app displays synced attachment references. Supported storage and preview formats are explained in Attachments & Files.
A workspace you can shape
Write with Markdown, live styling, slash commands, tables, callouts, code blocks, and checklists. Connect pages with wikilinks. Use tags and properties to gather related material across folders. Search for a remembered phrase or ask a connected agent to find relevant notes.
Your vault includes capture/, a simple inbox for incoming material. Eligible new vaults can also receive a small starter guide and welcome pages. Your project folders and organization are yours to choose.
Memory you can inspect and maintain
In MindWiki, agent memory consists of saved knowledge that an agent retrieves when it needs it. Connecting a client does not automatically import all its past conversations, train the model on your vault, or load every page into every answer.
Ask agents to save useful findings, record decisions, and retrieve the relevant pages at the start of a task. Context Packs let you reuse selected pages for recurring work. Activity records and supported proposals help you inspect what connected agents do.
Access depends on the connection's permissions. Your MindWiki sign-in credential belongs on MindWiki's own pages; agents use their connection credentials.
Readable files at the foundation
Pages are plain Markdown with optional YAML metadata and wikilinks. Attachments remain files stored alongside your pages. You can inspect the underlying content and export your vault; some interactive presentation features depend on the application opening it.
