Use case · founders
MindWiki for founders.
A working memory across every conversation, decision, and shifting hypothesis — that's the founder problem MindWiki was built to help with.
Founder problems MindWiki addresses
- Conversations decay. The investor call insight, the customer comment, the cofounder argument — all gone in a week unless they land somewhere.
- Decision provenance disappears. "Why did we choose this approach?" surfaces six months later and the rationale is in a Slack thread you can't find.
- AI context resets. You re-explain your company every conversation.
A founder's working setup
- capture/ folder hooked to email-to-vault — you forward investor / customer emails and they land as pages.
- decisions/ folder with one page per real decision. Each page has frontmatter: status, date, owners, links to the evidence.
- people/ folder for stakeholders. Backlinks show every decision and meeting tied to each person.
- AI client (Claude / ChatGPT) connected via MCP. Ask "summarize our pricing decisions over the last quarter" — the AI uses your real vault.
- Pro Weekly Classifier proposes moves; Pattern Detection surfaces drift.
What it doesn't solve
- Not a CRM. If you need pipeline tracking, keep your CRM and link out from MindWiki pages.
- Not a team workspace. Founders who want a shared workspace can mirror selected pages out, but the vault itself is single-user today.
- Not a project tracker. Keep Linear/Jira for tickets, link them from MindWiki pages.
